Jeff Wood

Jeff Wood is a singer/songwriter born in Springfield, MO, on December 14th, 1977.

From an early age, Jeff was writing and composing his own music. His love for writing led him to the University of Missouri - Kansas City where he excelled, and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English.

Teaching himself to play guitar, bass, and piano, Jeff went onto form a band that quickly caught attention, allowing the group to play 100 to 150 shows per year, and tour through 22 states – from California to New York.

With Jeff as the main songwriter, three albums were produced – two of which received regular rotation on major radio stations in the Kansas City Metro Area. Success continued stirring interest with major record labels Columbia, Reprise, Road Runner, Epic, Maverick, and Universal Records.

As the band decided to go separate ways, Jeff embarked on his solo career. Once again he found himself in high demand throughout the Midwest performing between 15 – 25 shows per month for restaurant, bar, corporate, and private clients, garnering accolades and awards as he did so – culminating with an invite to sing on the national television hit: "Nashville Star."
